We provide these services with the dignity, respect and compassion our residents expect and deserve. On January 18, 2002, our Founder and CEO, Richard J. Brewer, celebrated both the birth of his daughter, and the birth of a new company – Commonwealth Senior Living. Beginning with just three communities that year, the organization has grown in both size and scope. We have changed our name to Commonwealth Senior Living to reflect all of our living options: independent apartments, assisted living and memory care. We proudly own and operate 34 communities across the Mid-Atlantic. As a result of our dedication, quality and commitment to seniors and their families, Commonwealth Senior Living has become Virginia’s premier provider of independent living, assisted living and memory care.
