The organization also owns and operates three retail pharmacies. In addition, VMH maintains relationships with regional healthcare providers and offers visiting specialty services located in the VMH Outpatient Specialty Care area. As an independent health system, VMH has established a strong relationship with Gundersen Health System. In addition to visiting specialty providers, Gundersen maintains Viroqua-based family medicine, orthopedic, and general surgery medical practices as well as renal dialysis and optometric services.
