West Allis is a city in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, United States. A suburb of Milwaukee, it is part of the Milwaukee metropolitan area. The population was 60,411 at the 2010 census. Fred Henderson was the first village president. In 1906, West Allis was chartered as a city with 2,400 acres of land and a population of 2,306. In 1905, a permanent water system was established for the city.
