PacificSource was founded in 1933 by a group of 21 physicians who staffed and operated Pacific Christian Hospital in Eugene, Oregon. Within two years, the not-for-profit covered 600 employees, hired its first full-time manager, and named itself Pacific Hospital Association (PHA). Our vision is to be the lifelong trusted partner of our members and communities?helping to improve their health and well-being, healthcare experience, and access to affordable care. Our mission is to provide better health, better care, and better cost to the people and communities we serve.
