As a Commodity Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for producing consolidated hedging reports and conducting detailed analysis on commodity markets that are crucial to Smithfield’s operations. You’ll work closely with the Commodities Team to enhance reporting capabilities and contribute to data-driven decision-making. Hedging Report Management: Develop and manage consolidated commodity hedging reports. Assist in building PowerPoint presentations. Collaboration with Finance and Accounting: Work in conjunction with Finance and Accounting to ensure compliance with company policies and protocols; provide data analysis support to the hedging team. Financial Analysis and Forecasting: Analyze financial information to forecast business, industry, and economic conditions and communicate results to appropriate parties. Economic and Industry Monitoring: Monitor fundamental economic, industrial, and corporate developments by analyzing information from various sources to make informed decisions pertaining to the business.
