What You Will Do: Assist the physician in coordinating age-appropriate care for patients, under the supervision of the physician, clinic RN, or clinic manager. Perform basic patient assessments including vital signs, height, weight, and history gathering Identify and communicate urgent concerns to the physician promptly Administer medications and treatments with 100% accuracy, following physician orders and clinic policy Perform phlebotomy and other clinical procedures in compliance with safety and quality standards Respond to patient-related phone calls, assess needs, document actions, and communicate with physicians Maintain accurate patient records and assist with clinical charge entries Support data management processes and other clinic operations as needed What Sets BRG Apart: At Baton Rouge General, we are a community of compassionate, caring individuals who set the bar when it comes to healthcare excellence.
