Serve as primary contact for faculty/staff regarding pre-award processes, deadlines, and sponsor requirements. Maintain proposal calendars, trackers, internal timelines, and deliverable schedules. Conduct funding opportunity research and summarize eligibility and requirements. Gather, format, and organize proposal documents (biosketches, facilities, current and pending, letters of support). Pre-screen proposals for basic compliance (page limits, margins, required sections). Support internal routing and coordinate with the AOR and compliance staff. Maintain organized pre-award files in Kuali/ SharePoint and update templates and guidance. Provide timely status updates and respond to inquiries within two business days. Support database maintenance, data accuracy, and documentation. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications. Bachelor’s degree 1–2 years of experience in research administration, grants management, project management, or grants accounting. Familiarity with federal funding agencies, online databases, and Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200). Strong organizational skills, accuracy, attention to detail, and multitasking ability. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word). Ability to conduct web-based research and maintain databases. Preferred Qualifications. Experience in an academic or research environment. Experience with Kuali Research or similar e. RA platforms.
