These roles provide essential assistance to healthcare professionals in delivering patient care. Ensure the smooth functioning of clinical operations by handling tasks that support the diagnostic, therapeutic, and procedural aspects of patient care. Allied Health - Health Services professionals work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of medical services. These roles focus on the preparation, performance, and post-operative support to surgical teams. Responsibilities include sterilization, instrument preparation and handling, and or operational or hands-on support required during surgery. May work in our hospitals, surgical centers, and clinics, and have responsibilities from planning and preparation to recovery and follow-up. Does not include Perioperative Nurses. Individual contributors who provide support to an organization, often in direct service, operational, technical or administrative functions. Spends majority of time in the delivery of support services or activities, typically under supervision. Opportunities for progression outside this career stream are typically limited without additional education or significant training and experience. Entry-level position typically requiring little to no prior experience. Work is routine and follows standard procedures. Work is closely supervised. Problems faced are routine with clearly defined solutions. Communicates information that requires little explanation or interpretation. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent. Experience: 1 year or relevant experience preferred, Experience as CNA, EMT, PCT or CMA highly preferred. Licensure: No certification required at hire, obtaining certain certifications within 6 months of hire may be required. See position requisition for details.
