PhD. in a relevant field with a strong track record of excellence in cellular and molecular neuroscience. Must have advanced at least one key research project focusing on mechanistic research, as evidenced by a first-author paper published or accepted in a leading peer-reviewed journal. An independent, resilient scientist with outstanding communication skills and a strong intrinsic drive, who thrives in a collaborative team environment. Motivated by identifying novel therapeutic targets for neurodegenerative diseases. Preferred Qualifications. Hands-on experience with i. PSC-based cultures of CNS cell types, primary rodent cultures, and genetic perturbation methods. Deep understanding of molecular mechanisms relevant to neurodegeneration, particularly mitochondrial or lysosomal pathways. Proven track record of success in wet-laboratory experimentation. Working knowledge of large-scale data analysis (e.g., RNA-seq, proteomics). Excellent data organization, presentation, and communication skills. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
