Contribute to Millersville University’s growing programs in School Social Work and Home School Visitor certification through this part-time Graduate Assistantship. Manage communication channels to serve as a resource for prospective and current students; maintain student records and program files, and assist with research. Required Qualifications All graduate assistants must be enrolled in a Millersville University graduate program; non-degree students and those only seeking post-baccalaureate certification are not eligible. Part-time Graduate assistants must be enrolled in and maintain a minimum of 3 credits in Fall semester and in Spring semester. Must be available for on-campus work to coordinate efforts with the program coordinator. Enrollment in Master of Social Work program plus School Social Work Cert. program. Preferred Qualifications Job Duties Updating existing electronic tracking sheet of students’ course progression to ensure timely completion of certification program. Maintaining student records/program files to help with documentation for PA Dept. of Education certificate. Managing certificate program communication channels (email, website updates, cut sheets/brochures). Assisting in supporting students by with referring students to relevant campus academic and technical and university resources. Assisting with recruitment and admissions processes. Contributing to research projects, conducting literature review and writing annotated bibliography. Developing a working bibliography of published sources.
