As a Security Officer - Morning Shift in Oak Ridge, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/ Media/ Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and deliver standout customer service. What You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including completing detailed reports and notifying site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout technology-focused buildings, offices, and perimeter areas, noting and reporting unusual activity and/or conditions. Monitor access points and check identification and/or credentials per site policy, helping to control visitor entry, deliveries, and contractor access. Use site systems such as access control, visitor logs, radios, and/or CCTV to support security-related operations, including documenting patrols, alarms, and service requests. Minimum Requirements:Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. Be 21 or more years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
