Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.45 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM - Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM - Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and access control protocols at a government location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to control authorized access for people, vehicles, and deliveries. Respond to incidents, prohibited access attempts, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts as needed. Maintain accurate visitor logs, badge records, and other access-related documentation in accordance with site policies and reporting expectations. Support emergency response activities when appropriate and report suspicious, unusual, and/or security-related activity according to established procedures. Minimum Requirements:Have 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree. An armed guard card and guard card is required. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
