Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM - Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM - Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM - Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with staff and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, hallways, waiting areas, and other assigned locations, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures. Assist with access control, visitor screening, and directional support while maintaining a professional presence and following healthcare location protocols. Minimum Requirements:Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Meet hospital vaccine requirements. Be willing to work in a hospital environment that may include a morgue. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting when required. Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
