The Global APQP & Supplier Development Leader is a senior leadership role accountable for defining, governing, and continuously improving the global processes for Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Supplier Initiated Change Requests (SICR) within a regulated medical device environment. Your role:Govern global APQP and Supplier-Initiated Change Request (SICR) processes, ensuring competency, compliance, risk-based approaches, and alignment with regulatory standards across supplier engineering and engagement. Lead and develop a global Supplier Development Engineering team, setting priorities and fostering supplier accountability, quality, and operational reliability through maturity models and early expert involvement. Drive strategic alignment and continuous improvement by establishing KPIs, collaborating cross-functionally, and serving as an executive escalation point for critical risks and disruptions. Ensure compliance, audit, and regulatory readiness by making processes inspection-ready and serving as a senior SME during audits and regulatory inspections. Champion supplier-owned quality and First-Time Right principles by strengthening controls, enabling suppliers with tools and training, and linking supplier development activities to engineering changes and risk mitigation. You're the right fit if: You’ve acquired 12 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Supplier Development, APQP, Engineering, or Quality Systems within the medical device or regulated industry. Proven senior leadership experience managing global teams and complex, cross-functional process required. Deep expertise in APQP, supplier change management (SICR/ SIC), and supplier capability development required. Experience operating within a global Supplier Quality Center of Excellence or process-centric operating model preferred. Your skills include strong working knowledge of FDA QSR, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and global regulatory expectations; Demonstrated success driving supplier maturity, zero-defect initiatives, and first-time right execution at scale. You have a Bachelor’s/master’s degree in engineering science, Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
