What We Offer. Vascular Sonographer We are looking for a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team with the Heart and Vascular Institute. You will assist physician and/or advanced practice providers in the performance of diagnostic and/ or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the ultrasound equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans. Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday. Location: Charlotte, NC - Travel to all HVI Charlotte Region Clinics Come join a remarkable team where quality care meets quality service, in every dimension, every time. What We're Looking For. Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Sonography Program; or CAAHEP-recognized Sonography Program, required. Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in vascular sonography, required. Licensure/ Certification: Certified and registered by ARRT in Vascular Sonography or certified and registered by ARDMS in Vascular Technology or certified and registered by CCI in Vascular Specialist RT(S)(VS), or RDMS, RT(VS) or RDMS, RVT, VT, or RT(S), CCI (RVS), RDMS, CCI (RVS), required. Additional Skills (required): - Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing - Possesses Good communication skills - Capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms - Has working knowledge of various types of ultrasound equipment - Able to adapt to new and various situations and procedures according to age of patient served - Has ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs - Has basic computer skills Why Choose Novant Health?
