As a Software Engineering Intern at GE Healthcare for our MIM Commercialized Web Applications team, you will contribute to our web applications sold to customers – MI - Mcloud and MIM Anyware. MI - Mcloud is a software-as-a-service (Saas) web application which enables secure, HIPAA-compliant cloud-based storage and exchange of medical images between clinical facilities. MIM Anyware is an on-premise web application which virtualizes access to our main desktop medical imaging application (MIM) through a web browser. Job Description. What You'll Do. Contribute full-stack changes to the codebases of MI - Mcloud and/or MIM Anyware. Document code, design specifications, and cybersecurity threat models Test code and write unit tests Work closely with experienced software engineers, including a personal mentor Learn about software engineering principles in an industry environment Learn about engineering best practices for development of regulated medical software Work on real features with a real-world impact on customers Technologies.
