An Internal Communications Intern at Eide Bailly works with the internal communications team to connect employees with the right information through creative and engaging messaging. A typical day as an Internal Communications Intern might include the following:Writing and editing a variety of internal communications including presentations, announcements, and updates to be delivered across a variety of communications channels. Creating and distributing various internal newsletters, ensuring consistent and engaging content. Regularly updating our editorial calendar and intranet site. Keeping our data and analytics spreadsheets and dashboards up to date. Creating detailed internal communication plans to engage and inform employees. Designing, building, and distributing internal emails, focusing on clarity and engagement to communicate key messages to employees. Partnering with multiple departments to execute communication plans from concept to delivery. Leveraging and collaborating with the firm’s content, design, and digital teams for writing projects. Ensuring timely and accurate performance on assigned projects. Maintaining compliance with project budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines. Who You Are. You are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Business, Writing or a related field. You have strong interpersonal skills and are eager to learn about and apply internal communication strategies and tools to foster engagement and connection. You enjoy writing and want to develop skills in creating and tailoring content for different audiences, with an understanding of the basics of messaging and stakeholder needs. You are open to learning and using new technologies that support company-wide communication. You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment and are keen to develop the ability to handle changing priorities and deadlines. You are excited to build effective working relationships with team members and leaders and contribute to a collaborative environment. You are proficient with computers, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and using various software programs.
