The Global IT Operations Manager serves as a strategic partner to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of global information technology (IT) priorities across infrastructure, security, business systems, and service delivery. This role will be responsible for driving alignment globally across IT functions, improving visibility into initiatives, and ensuring effective execution of the global IT strategy. This position plays a critical role in IT financial management, vendor and contract oversight, and executive reporting. The Global IT Operations Manager will work in a dynamic and evolving environment, brining structure to complex organizations, and operates effectively across both strategic and operational responsibilities. This role will take on leadership responsibility for specific IT functions or initiatives and will evolve over time as the business grows. Responsibilities Global Systems Strategy & Execution: - Partner with the CIO to support development and execution of IT strategy and priorities. - Coordinate across IT leaders to maintain visibility into all active initiatives, including purpose, status, and business value. - Develop and manage executive-level reporting on IT portfolio, initiatives, risks, and performance. - Identify gaps, risks, and misalignment across IT initiatives and drive follow-up actions. - Support IT budgeting and forecasting processes in partnership with Finance. - Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and organizational effectiveness. - Support cross-functional collaboration across infrastructure, security, and business systems teams. - Step in to lead projects, initiatives, or functional areas when gaps or challenges arise. - Support stabilization or transformation efforts in underperforming areas of IT. Systems Governance, Configuration & Optimization: - Track financial performance, including actuals vs. budget, and identify optimization opportunities. - Assist in development of business cases and investment prioritization. - Review and manage Statements of Work (SO - Ws), contracts, and vendor agreements. - Ensure vendor performance aligns with expectations and delivers business value. Data Driven Insights & Reporting: - Partner with IT and Business leadership on vendor selection, negotiations, and renewals. - Drive consistency in reporting, planning, and governance processes across global IT teams. - Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and organizational effectiveness. - Support cross-functional collaboration across infrastructure, security, and business systems teams. Step in to lead projects, initiatives, or functional areas when gaps or challenges arise. - Support stabilization or transformation efforts in underperforming areas of IT. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. The wage range for this position is $105,720.00-$158,580.00 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience Qualifications Education - Bachelor's Degree Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field (required) - Master's Degree Business, Technology, or related field (preferred) Experience - 8 years experience in IT operations, program management, business systems, or related leadership roles (required) - 2 years relevant work experience working across multiple IT domains, including infrastructure, security, and applications (required) - 2 years proven financial acumen, including experience developing and managing budgets, forecasting operational and capital expenditures, and driving cost-management initiatives (required) - 2 years work experience in IT governance, transformation initiatives, or organizational change (preferred) - Experience supporting executive leadership (CIO or equivalent) in a medium to large organization (preferred) - Experience in logistics, supply chain, or global operations environments (preferred) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Expertise in TMS platforms, system configuration, and integration frameworks High - Familiarity with ITSM and portfolio management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, etc.). High - Ability to lead system optimization and continuous improvement initiatives High - Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, global environment with multiple priorities. High - Must have excellent leadership, influencing, communication. and organizational skills High - Strong financial and analytical acumen High - Deep understanding of global logistics systems and business process alignment High - Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, global environment with multiple priorities. High - High proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and system reporting tools High. Licenses and Certifications - - Cargo. Wise Certified upon hire (required) - - PMP, Lean Six Sigman, or similar (preferred)
