Promote safe work environments through example; good housekeeping & effective safety meetings Manage daily operations Communicate important shift information, production issues, concerns and needs with proper personnel Pian out production for most efficient process Ensure forklift and crane reports are completed each shift Utilize improvement projects that increase the departments functionality Analyze, treat & establish counter measures for failures Plan maintenance work as well as work routinely with vendors Monitor daily staffing needs and communicate with other employees to fill in vacancies to maintain operations Plan and attend required staffing and safety meetings Planning of future budgets Hold Performance Reviews with employees and/or give feedback on employees performance What You'll Need Minimum 5 years of Refractory Experience Experience managing people and budgets Experience in Inventory Control Proficient in MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint Data entry in SAP/ QMOS experience Ability to track, chart, and improve processes Your Education High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required We are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
