Instruction & Student Achievement. Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned math instruction using AMS curriculum and instructional frameworks. Differentiate instruction to support students performing above and below grade level. Use assessment data to monitor progress and adjust instruction to maximize student growth. Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and strong mathematical foundations. Collaboration & Professional Development. Participate in weekly professional development and professional learning communities. Collaborate with colleagues and instructional leaders to continuously improve teaching practices. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and academic excellence. Family & Community Engagement. Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and academic goals. Lead parent-teacher conferences and maintain strong home-school partnerships. Scholar Culture & Support. Implement PBIS and preventative intervention strategies to support positive student behavior. Create a structured, positive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes accountability and success. Minimum Qualifications. Candidates must meet one of the following:Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field. OR - Arizona teaching certification in a relevant subject area. Additionally, candidates must:Demonstrate strong classroom management skills. Pass required background checks and obtain an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card. Demonstrate commitment to serving Title I and multilingual communities. Show strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for data-driven instruction. Demonstrate collaboration, initiative, and adaptability in a team environment. Compensation & Benefits. AMS offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support professional growth and long-term career success. Salary Range: $44,770. – $50,550.
