This position will support the Warranty Operations Senior Manager and Genesis Warranty Operations Manager. Responsibilities will include managing all publications, Warranty P&P, Claims Processing Manual, DCS Messages, etc. that are published by the Warranty Department to internal and external customers. This includes overseeing the Retail Requests process (both Labor and Parts) to ensure state regulations are adhered to from a legal standpoint. This position will also be responsible for overseeing department budget and overseeing the Warranty Call Center. Support HMC/ Legal/ HATCI for all issues related to emissions, including Handbook updates, emissions analysis, and system updates HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Use advanced data analysis to develop policy recommendations that mitigate revenue loss. Manage system updates and implementations related to policy changes, new technologies, models, or equipment. Review Labor Rate Packages for compliance with Warranty Policy and state statutes; communicate processes to regions and dealers. Review dealer warranty retail packages and validate requested retail rates for regulatory compliance; provide recommendations. Provide monthly, annual, and ad-hoc parts retail rate impact reports to Finance and Warranty Management. Maintain and monitor Automotive Dealer Franchise statutes by state and update for amendments. Track dealer labor rate adjustment activity monthly and annually. Update warranty manuals prior to model-year launch, including claim processing, policy, coverage guides, and reference charts. Provide emissions expense analysis by part and model and update warranty system coverages accordingly. Ensure WEBDCS Parts Coverage Screen accuracy. Support Legal with monthly TREAD Act reporting and ad-hoc analysis. Review non-warranty publications for accuracy and warranty compliance. Initiate and respond to benchmarking requests, DFU changes, SAP updates, and VIN branding. Manage Warranty Call Center operations, KPIs, dealer relations, and budget initiatives. WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE Must be a high school graduate. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Five or more years of relevant Warranty experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access. Familiarity with QMF and AS 400. Excellent organizational skills. Strong written and oral communication skills.
