Sidwell Friends School (SFS), a coeducational Quaker day school with campuses in the Tenleytown section of Northwest Washington, D.C., and Bethesda, MD, seeks a full-time Information Technology Support Intern to join the IT Services team for the Summer. The IT Support Intern is primarily responsible for helping prepare student devices and learning spaces for the upcoming school year. The candidate must demonstrate a history of working collaboratively. The candidate will value accuracy over speed. This position primarily serves the SFS campus in Washington, DC, with occasional travel to the lower school campus in Bethesda, MD. Essential Functions: Support the SFS community in their use of technology. Install and configure hardware (desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile phones, printers, etc.), software, A/ V equipment, and network cabling. Troubleshoot and correct problems that SFS community members may encounter when using technology. Promote effective teamwork, communication, and collaboration within the SFS IT Services Team. Refurbish and prepare student devices for deployment in the upcoming school year. Assist with the storage and moving of equipment from location to location. Perform other duties as assigned by the SFS IT Services Team or the Chief Information Officer. Age Requirement: The candidate must be 16 years of age and older. Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm (with a minimum of 20 hours per week minimum up to 40 hours per week maximum) Start Date: June 16th, 2025 Compensation: $18.40/hr This position reports to the Assistant Director of Technology, end-user services, Keegan Bowen (bowenk@sidwell.edu).
