IUSD schools have been nationally recognized for comprehensive programs in academics, the arts, and athletics. Requirements / Qualifications Valid CA Teaching Credential required - Teacher Librarian Services credential preferred, but not required. Please note: If you do not have the Teacher Librarian Services credential - upon hire in IUSD, we would apply for an Emergency Teacher Librarian Services permit for you. This would place you on the Emergency column on the Certificated Salary Schedule for MS Librarians until you get the clear Teacher Librarian Services credential. You would have 2 years from the date of hire to complete the courses/exams needed to obtain that clear credential, and you would need to make progress towards it in the first year to be able to get a second issuance of the permit for the second year.
