Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.55 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM - Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including perimeter areas, access points, parking areas, and key operational zones, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit activity by verifying credentials, screening visitors and/or contractors according to site procedures, and reporting access concerns or policy violations. Support traffic and vehicle control at gates and designated checkpoints, observe deliveries and contractor activity, and report hazards, spills, or equipment issues through established security-related channels. Minimum Requirements:At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
