As a Security Officer Campus Patrol in Tupelo, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/ Malls, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Tue 11:30 AM - 11:30 PM - Wed 11:30 AM - 11:30 PM - Thur 11:30 AM - 11:30 PM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting details to site leadership. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, observe customer and employee traffic, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns in accordance with site protocols. Support retail loss prevention and asset protection efforts by documenting incidents, communicating with management, and assisting with crowd management during busy periods, openings, closings, and/or special events. Minimum Requirements:Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
