Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Mon 04:00 PM - 11:59 PM - Tue 04:00 PM - 11:59 PM - Fri 04:00 PM - 11:59 PM - Sat 04:00 PM - 11:59 PM - Sun 04:00 PM - 11:59 PM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related operations at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns. Monitor access points, observe activity, and document incidents, hazards, and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders and reporting procedures. Support emergency response activities, assist with directional guidance and de-escalation when appropriate, and help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior. Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card/license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
