As a Security Officer Entry Control Specialist in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/ Beverage, and more. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM - Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM - Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM - Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM - Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and/or maintain access logs to help support authorized access at the location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures. Assist with screening incoming deliveries, vendor arrivals, and/or contractor access while following post instructions for a food and beverage location. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for maintenance issues, unsecured access points, and/or other unusual conditions. Minimum Requirements:Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
