How you’ll make an impact in this role Create engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that foster a love for learning and provide a stable, nurturing environment for students within our care. Lead the development and evaluation of educational programs to ensure every child receives personalized resources tailored to their specific developmental needs. Monitor and document student milestones to provide families with clear insights into their child's academic and social progress. Support the seamless transition of students back to their local school districts by serving as a dedicated liaison between our center and external administrators. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration:Food Service Professional credentialed from the Serv. Safe National Restaurant Association obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Will accept Food Handler Card through Food Handler Essentials Course through State Food Safety within 1 Month (30 days) of hire or job transfer date. Heart Saver AED credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. In lieu of Heart Saver, Pediatric CPR and First Aid through ASHI, AHA or Life. Saver Learning, Inc. obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date will be accepted. Licensed Teacher preferred. Education:Based on Kansas State Regulations, one or more of the following is required: 1) A child development associate credential, OR; 2) An A. B. or B. S degree in child development or early childhood education, including a supervised practicum; and three months' teaching experience in licensed centers or preschools, OR; 3) An A. B. or B. S degree in a related academic discipline, and 12 hours of academic study or equivalent training in child development, early childhood education, curriculum resources, nutrition, child guidance, parent education, supervised practicum and administration of early childhood programs and six months' teaching experience in licensed centers or preschools.
