What You Will Do:You will develop innovative new features for a new real-time situational awareness Command & Control Systems (C 2) using Java. You will design, architect and code critical capabilities in an active Agile environment. Work in a highly collaborate team environment to design, architect and innovate software solutions. Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects. What You Will Learn:You will learn how to develop high quality software to support real-time situational awareness Command & Control Systems (C 2) systems. You will learn how to support engineering process improvements, audits and peer reviews. You will learn how to work within a highly collaborative software team and interface with other engineering disciplines as needed to meet program contract milestones. You will learn how to update documentation related to test, verification, and design activities. Qualifications You Must Have:Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) obtained prior to start. Strong computer science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms and information retrieval. Relevant work experience using SW Development tools (e.g. Maven, Apache Ant, Jenkins, etc).
