Provides direct patient care with direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. Performs clinical job duties as outlined by departmental competency. Supports nursing and hospital administration by acceptance of established objectives, policies and procedures. Accurately documents patient related tasks. Maintains professional knowledge and required certifications through growth and development. Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.
