Under the direction of the Director of Rehab, the Physical Therapist (PT) communicates and collaborates with physicians and other members of the health care team to provide consistent quality for inpatients. Working with a high degree of autonomy, the PT accepts responsibility for patient care during evaluation and treatment of all physical therapy related conditions. The PT works within the framework of the PT board of CA Practice Act and follows all department and hospital policies and procedures. He/ She complies with all hospital standards and therapy related clinical practice guidelines while performing job duties and responsibilities What It Takes to be Successful Required Qualifications: Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System Possession of valid Physical Therapist License issued by the State of California Valid BLS Card for health care providers.
