Our Clark location is part of our Taste Division, producing flavors and ingredients. Our Clark facility is unique in the sense they have two buildings. The North building has a fruitier smell to it, the teams in that building are producing natural flavoring and essential oils. The South building is the complete opposite, it will have savory and garlic smells because the team is producing seasonings for meat, chicken broth, and beef gravy.\u 00 A 0160 Terminal Ave, Clark, NJ 07066 \u 00 A 0 Key responsibilities. JOB TITLE Pre-Weigh - Mixing Department. Shift. SUMMARY - Weighs quantities of materials for use in production processes and maintains all safety and quality standards by performing the following duties.\u 00 A 0 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\u 00 A 0 Places loose or packaged material on scales and adds or removes portions of material to obtain specified weight.\u 00 A 0 Weighs partial ingredients (scoops and dumps) and records weights and lot numbers on work orders. Partial ingredient information is written on outside of partial containers.\u 00 A 0 Reads work order or formula to determine types and quantities of materials to weigh.\u 00 A 0 Assesses material requirements for work orders to determine if everything needed is available to make the mixes. Plan stock rotation to be sure oldest lots are used first.\u 00 A 0 Calculates number of full containers, sacks, cartons, drums, etc., and partial weight containers that must be weighted out for all ingredients to cover mix requirements.\u 00 A 0 Records weights of materials used for production records, or maintains perpetual inventory of materials used and on hand.\u 00 A 0 Re-weighs remaining ingredient containers and records new weight, lot number, and date on outside before sealing and replacing into storage.\u 00 A 0 Dumps materials in prescribed sequence into chute or hopper or onto conveyor belt.\u 00 A 0\u 00 A 0 Transfers certain unused ingredients to warehouse.\u 00 A 0 Transfers weighed materials to production or storage areas.\u 00 A 0 Stages full and partial containers on pallet boards for each mix.\u 00 A 0 Sorts weighed materials into designated bins or containers, according to weight or type.\u 00 A 0 Maintains organized and clutter-free partial ingredient storage area.\u 00 A 0 Performs related tasks as assigned.\u 00 A 0\u 00 A 0 Qualifications and skills. Qualifications and skills. Minimum Requirements. HS or equivalent Experience. Minimum 6 months experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Must have experience, knowledge and ability to operate forklift truck.\u 00 A 0\u 00 A 0 Physical Requirements\u 00 A 0 Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds and move up to 400 pounds. Must be able to operate forklifts and other equipment integral to the job functions.
