In this internship, you'll work alongside Extension Specialists who are subject matter experts turning research into practical, real-world solutions. You'll contribute to projects that address current challenges while building skills in areas such as data collection, analysis, or research communication. Work may include a combination of field, office, and occasional remote tasks, depending on the project. This position is eligible for fully telework within the state of Utah; OR hybrid work with in-person responsibilities in Cache County; OR fully in-person work in Washington County. Responsibilities Program & Event Support. Assist with coordination and delivery of Extension health programs (Tri-County Overdose Prevention Program, vaccine communication initiatives, Healthy Screens, Healthy Families)Education & Content Development. Develop and disseminate health communication materials, including social media content, newsletters, and Extension fact sheets. Community Outreach & Partnerships. Support community outreach efforts by assisting with event planning, partner communication, and program delivery logistics. Research & Evaluation. Contribute to grant writing and reporting by assisting with literature reviews, drafting sections, and compiling evaluation data. Assist with program evaluation activities, including data collection, basic analysis, and summary reporting Qualifications Be an undergraduate student. Have an interest in the Extension program. Be dependable. Familiar with health education, substance use, social media, and outreach
