This Process Planner is at the Lawrence Greetings Production Center. The Process Planning & Imposition executes the supply chain strategy ensuring that the right amount of the right type of product is produced in the right supply chain (U.S. and Asia). For products produced internally by our greetings production plant, the department ensures that all products are planned to be feasible to produce both technically and economically, achieve desired artistic and quality requirements, ensure the lowest total production cost, and meet expected quantity and due date to satisfy customer expectations. The team works closely with section managers and operators to optimize production flows and partners with creative, demand and inventory, litho, and procurement teams. The Greetings Production Center is located in Lawrence, KS. The facility is climate controlled, and has various onsite amenities like a card shop, Cafe', and Mini. Mart. Apply today! The Process Planner will: Create gangs to optimize total product cost and improve production flow. Resolve production issues using knowledge of printing and manufacturing capabilities and systems(PPS, ARTS, MPPS, SAP). Manage projects related to process changes and new developments. Develop and update planning guidelines and standard pages. Provide communication, direction, and training to team members. Ensure accuracy of printing and manufacturing process files. Hallmark products are produced in both of our Kansas Manufacturing facilities located in Lawrence, Kansas. This facility produces most of our greeting cards. Interested?
