Amazon Publishing is seeking a meticulous and forward-thinking Program Manager to join our Royalty & Payments team. This team focuses on the planning, execution, and delivery of our royalty and payment commitments globally. I - Key job responsibilities. In this role, you will own a portfolio of operational programs including payee onboarding, subrights payment quality assurance, author and rights holder support, team performance metrics, and partner team process monitoring. This role requires an understanding of current and future technologies required to deliver the end-to-end process, including contracts, payee setup, payment troubleshooting, customer-facing payment resolutions, and metrics collection and reporting. This role is inherently cross-functional and works closely with multiple teams including Finance, Tax, Contracts, Author Relations, Editorial, Vendor Management, and Product to drive operational efficiencies. We're looking for a candidate that has experience in a customer-focused role with strong judgment, ability to dive deep into operational issues, identify and address root causes clearly with internal stakeholders and external customers, inspect and improve processes, and consistently deliver results. Basic Qualifications- 3 years of program or project management experience- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/ IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)Preferred Qualifications- 3 years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.
