ENSCO is seeking an Office Custodian to perform assigned custodial tasks, which include general cleaning of restrooms,offices,cafeteria,entrances, classrooms, conference rooms and other common areas. Custodial tasks often include the following: - Empty wastebaskets and replace liner as needed - Dust/clean tops of office furniture, desks and tables - Vacuum all carpeting & spot clean soiled areas when needed, Sweep floors and damp mop non-carpeted flooring with disinfectant - Sanitize and clean toilets, basins, and urinals, Clean sink, counters, mirrors fixtures, and damp mop tile floors - Refill all restroom dispensers as needed - Spot clean walls, partitions, and doors - Wipe/clean all tabletops, chairs, vending machines, appliances, etc. - Ensure custodial supplies are stocked, and maintain tidy and organized custodial closets. Qualifications Required - Basic knowledge of custodial duties and janitorial responsibilities - Minimum of 2 to 4 years of related experience - Knowledge of cleaning equipment including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, waxing, scrubbing, buffing, and applying finishes on different flooring materials - Knowledge of cleaning techniques and processes - Knowledge of the qualities and uses of various cleaning, sanitizing, stripping, and waxing compounds - Experience in cleaning and sanitizing washrooms - Ability to follow directions and work within guidelines - Must be able to read, understand and follow units of measure on product labels - Satisfactory personal appearance and hygiene within company guidelines - Must maintain professional demeanor and be a team player - Demonstrated ability of maintaining janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition - Repetitive motion involved on a daily basis may include, but not limited to, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, and squatting - Requires stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning, and reaching into areas not fully air conditioned - Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time to include climbing/descending stairwells and ladders - Ability to maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner and according to company guidelines and all regulations - Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials up to 50 pounds Qualifications Desired - Ability to work a flexible daytime schedule Required Certifications: None.
