Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their medical history, current health concerns, and treatment goals. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs, incorporating acupuncture techniques and other traditional Chinese medicine modalities. Perform acupuncture treatments using sterile needles, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to best practices. Monitor and evaluate patients' progress throughout the treatment process, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary. Provide patient education and guidance on lifestyle modifications, nutrition, and self-care practices to support overall well-being. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment notes, progress reports, and billing information. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and alternative medicine practitioners, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on the latest research, developments, and advancements in acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine, integrating evidence-based practices into your treatments. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice, ensuring compliance with state regulations, licensing requirements, and clinic policies. Participate in professional development activities, including continuing education, workshops, and conferences, to enhance your knowledge and skills. Requirements:California State licensure as an Acupuncturist required. Current American Heart Association healthcare provider CPR (BLS), or Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, or Advance Resuscitation Training required. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Licensed Acupuncturist required. Demonstrated experience and proficiency in performing acupuncture treatments, with a strong understanding of traditional Chinese medicine principles and techniques. Excellent communication skills to establish rapport with patients, listen to their concerns, and provide clear explanations of treatment plans. Strong diagnostic abilities to assess patients' conditions accurately and develop appropriate treatment strategies. Traveling between sites and other locations is occasionally required. Must have a valid California driver’s license, an automobile, and proof of minimum levels of car insurance as required under California law, although limits of $100,000 are recommended. An acceptable driving record is also required. California law requires all drivers to obtain a valid California driver’s license within ten days of establishing residency.
