Substitute teachers will assume the duties of the regular classroom teacher in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies, including: Delivering instruction using established lesson plans Assigning reasonable classwork and homework Motivating students and encouraging active participation Adapting instruction to meet diverse learning styles Maintaining a positive, safe, and productive classroom environment Long? Term Assignments (11 consecutive days): Developing lesson plans Creating, administering, and grading assignments and assessments Minimum Requirements Substitute Teachers At least 20 years of age High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework or degree a plus) Substitute Paraprofessionals At least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent Long? Term Substitute Teachers At least 20 years of age High school diploma or equivalent Long?term assignments are defined as 11 consecutive days in the same role All Candidates Must Have: Comfort using a computer?based scheduling and payroll system Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Pay Rates Daily Substitute Teacher Pay: $115/day Long?
