Essential Responsibilities: Prioritize and analyze internal and external escalations to prevent future escalations. Provide feedback regarding necessary changes and updates including policies, upgrades, and potential workflow changes. Function as Subject Matter Expert, partnering with key stakeholders for educating, training, coaching, and enhancing risk/detections. Report trends, make recommendations, and escalate issues/concerns appropriately to enhance the program. Contribute to business improvements e.g., MBR, DSA/ Internal service level, routing analysis, contact reduction etc. Develop robust monthly insights for team members and the leadership team. Run business and self-identified projects. Support complex consumer and merchant issues or escalations engaging appropriate stakeholders focused on resolution. Minimum Qualifications:1 years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:Job Duties:Administer the product launch review process. Provide post product launch support to product, legal and compliance stakeholders. Maintenance of Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC) tool data for areas of responsibility. Support the risk assessment process by identifying inherent risks and mitigating controls identified for new or changed products not yet live. Lead risk acceptance process to document and obtain approvals to accept inherent risks identified for new or changed products not yet live. Lead training on the product launch review process for product and project managers. Lead and/or support operational processes specific to Payment Services. Requirements:Be someone who enjoys identifying, explaining and solving problems. Detail-oriented, with attention to meeting documentation-based timelines. Strategic thinker who understands what they are doing and why they are doing it and can envision how it can be modified to increase efficiency. Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn the payments ecosystem and the facets of our products and processes. Analytical thinker who can work comfortably on data analysis and other internal tooling to determine the quantitative impact of potential issues or operational improvements. Subsidiary:PayPal. The expected range of pay for this role by location is:Primary Location | Pay Range:San Jose, California | ($64,000.00 - $91,850.00 Annually)Additional Location(s) | Pay Range:Chicago, Illinois | ($58,500.00 - $83,600.00 Annually) Austin, Texas | ($58,500.00 - $83,600.00 Annually) Additional compensation for this role may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable.
