Position Responsibilities:Baseline requirements, develop, test, and certify the design for Network services. Document test plan to certify Cisco IOS(s) for Cisco infrastructure such as ASR 99 XX, NCS 55 XX, NCS 540, and ASR 99 XX router(s). Designed/tested/configured IP routing, including static and dynamic routing. Fiber to the Home network (FTTH) PON-based design testing and services validation. Perform network maintenance, diagnostics work, and technical support to cross-organizational teams and engineering associates. Working experience in IP network, transport design, and testing. Prepare test cases and implement transport topologies to certify DWDM and CWDM designs. Optical transport testing, e.g., such as unamplified network (Dark fiber / CWDM), Coherent CFP 2-DC - Os / QSFPDD, 10 G DWDM Optics, 400 G ZR Optics. Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor. Position Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IP Networking, or equivalent experience 2-3 years’ experience in IP network design. Working knowledge of protocols, including IP, MPLS, OSPF, ISIS, and BGP - Ability to learn new technologies, troubleshoot IP and transport networks. Technical certifications such as Cisco CCNA and Ciena are highly desirable. Experience with network tools. Disclaimer: The salary range for this position is $60,000- $110,000.
