Department. The Financial Services Intern will build career-ready skills in communication, problem-solving, and professionalism while gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative environment. This role partners with cross-functional teams across the organization to support key initiatives and contribute meaningfully to daily operations. The intern will play an active role in delivering exceptional member experiences, with opportunities to shadow various departments and broaden their industry knowledge. Essential Duties. Assist with daily operational tasks and administrative support within assigned departments. Participate in team meetings to observe workflows, decision-making processes, and departmental priorities. Conduct basic research, data entry, and documentation to support ongoing projects. Assist with reporting, tracking metrics, and preparing presentations or summaries as needed. Provide excellent service to internal teams and, when applicable, members. Adhere to organization policies, confidentiality expectations, and regulatory guidelines. Learn about the organizations operations, financial products, member service standards, and the cooperative model. Support frontline teams with member inquiries, account maintenance, and transactions (observational only where required). Learn how to identify member needs and offer appropriate products or services. Assist with branch reporting, lobby engagement, and service-related projects. Performs other duties as assigned.
