The Outbound Supervisor working in the B 2 B space is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a warehouse and monitoring the productivity of its staff. Our Supervisors often work in busy environments where priorities can change at a moment’s notice, so an ability to multitask and delegate is essential for this role. - - Responsibilities: - - Supervisor job duties and responsibilities include: Oversees receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments. Assign workloads and daily tasks to warehouse associates. Communicate with customers to answer shipping and receiving questions and troubleshoot problems Monitor inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy Ensure inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained Monitor warehouse associates to ensure safety procedures are being followed when operating forklifts and other machinery. Perform multiple tasks throughout the workday, and they’re often required to shift focus swiftly when pressing matters arise. Oversee the scheduling and assigned tasks of warehouse staff, while communicating directly with vendors and customer, as well as answering questions and responding to complaints. Verify all orders for accuracy prior to shipping. Handle the training and disciplining of warehouse staff. Keep detailed records of warehouse operations, and meet with other department staff within the company when necessary. - - Qualifications: - - ???Prior experience preferred working in eCommerce, cross dock, distribution environment is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point Bilingual English/ Spanish desired but not required. Ability to maintain a positive attitude while multi-tasking, managing, coaching, and mentoring teams to be successful and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong process improvement skills (ability to develop and implement processes. Must have demonstrated leadership and strong interpersonal skills Professional verbal and written communication skills. College Degree preferred; HS Degree/ GED Required Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. - - Travel: - - This position is not remote.
