Prepare and distribute banquet event orders, floorplans and diagrams. \n. Coordinate across departments and with external contractors\/vendors to ensure event requirements are met and executed smoothly. \n. Manage financial aspects of billing, change orders, and reconciliation with Finance. \n\n. Qualifications \/ Skills:\n\n. Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality management, or related field (or equivalent experience).\n 3 years of catering or event sales experience in a convention center or high-volume catering operation.\n. Strong knowledge of food, beverage, and catering service operations.\n. Excellent communication and client service skills.\n. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple events simultaneously.\n\n. Other Requirements:\n\n. Able to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight; must be able to maneuver in an often tightly-quartered environment.\n.
