Construction Surveillance Technician CST is responsible from an access control and security standpoint for all workers in their charge while onsite. CS - Ts would ideally hold a current an active security clearance. The assigned CST will administer site security requirements to include coordinating access and providing oversight for all contractors entering the construction site. Primary Responsibilities:CST will validate access requirements and maintain/update access rosters as necessary. The CST will review the visitor's log/ EAL upon assumption of daily duties as well as at the end of the shift/day to ensure all personnel at the site are authorized per the contract and that the site is secure at the beginning and end of each day of construction. Furthermore, the CST will ensure prohibited items are not introduced into the area. As onsite point of contact CST will coordinate with relevant superintendents and project managers regarding schedule and onsite observations. CST is expected to be familiar with access requirements and procedures for the base/location being worked, and to assist in the coordination of work onsite to maintain workflow as directed. Work will be mostly within El Paso County, specifically primarily Peterson AFB, Cheyenne Mtn, or Schriever AFB. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervisory responsibilities are not anticipated. Education and/or Experience:Interpersonal skills sufficiently influence employees and subcontractors to actively achieve mutual goals. Proven ability to communicate with employees and customers including government. Must possess capability to manage multiple tasks concurrently. Excellent verbal communication skills. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None. Security Clearance: Secret clearance required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
