As the Manager Logistics Operations (2nd Shift) for the Aftermarket Parts Distribution Center in Clayton, OH, you will oversee the Inbound Processing Center (IPC) operation, supervising 6 salaried direct reports and up to 110 hourly indirect reports. The Clayton Distribution Center plays an important role within the Parts Distribution Network. The Clayton DC is an entry point for North American suppliers, in turn supplying other global DCs with this material. What You Will Do: Manage staffing, development, and performance management programs for operations staff; managing, motivating, and developing the management team. Overseeing operations activities, ensuring that safety, and schedules and performance requirements are met and system resources are used effectively. Driving improvements for overall operations performance and implementing safety, cost, and quality control mechanisms. Inspires continuous improvement of logistics processes through process improvement, prioritization, and project planning.
