Greets patients/visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Assists patients in/out of vehicle in a safe manner. Directs patients/visitors to the appropriate departments and accurately answer patients’ questions. Works harmoniously with volunteers and medical personnel to ensure a steady supply of wheelchairs at front doors through the day. Maintains assigned entrances in a clean and orderly manner. Participates in activities for personnel development and required training. Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.
