Responsible for routing inbound and outbound air freight shipments to their destinations and processing transactions for shipments. Job Duties: Load and unload freight, packages or cargo. Take orders from customers, arrange for pickup of cargo and answer questions related to cargo. Prepare bills of lading and weigh items to determine charges and prepare freight bills. Collect fees, process payments, and issue refunds using the computer system. Contact vendors and claims adjustment department to resolve problems with shipments. Prepare manifest to accompany shipments and maintain records of goods shipped, received. and stored. May also perform ramp agent duties as needed. Adhere to all safety procedures and policies. Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position. Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards. Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy. Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. Must be at least 18 years of age. Possess a valid Driving License. Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
