First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00 am to 04:00 pm)Installs, repairs, and maintains plumbing systems in municipal buildings, parks, and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with local codes. Installing and repairing plumbing fixtures, pipes, pumps, and valves in city buildings, facilities, and parks. Locating and fixing leaks in water mains, service lines, and repairing drainage/sewer systems. Responding to urgent calls regarding broken pipes, clogged drains, or malfunctioning systems. Operate small equipment as needed (Mini Excavators, Skid steers, Backhoes, etc.)City Plumbing Helper Qualifications:2-3 years of Plumbing experience (Certification preferred) Must be willing to be On-Call on Saturdays. Must live within 10 miles of the City as well as reliable mode of transportation. Ability to perform heavy manual labor, lift over 50-75 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in confined spaces or small trenches.
