As a Traffic Demand Modeler, you will lead and oversee the development of comprehensive traffic models for various projects, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Lead the development and implementation of travel demand models for transportation projects. Experience with microsimulation and other traffic analysis techniques is a plus, but not required. Serve as a technical authority on travel modeling methodologies, tools, and best practices. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and planners to integrate modeling into project delivery Manage modeling tasks, schedules, and deliverables from project initiation through completion. Present technical findings and recommendations to clients, stakeholders, and agencies Review and ensure quality of modeling work through established QA/ QC processes. Mentor and develop junior staff, supporting technical growth and career progression 12 years of experience in traffic and transportation modeling - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Planning or related field from an accredited program, or equivalent experience. Strong expertise in travel demand modeling. Proficiency with at least one travel demand modeling tool such as Cube, Trans. CAD, and/or Trans. Modeler. Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and delivering complex transportation projects. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences
