Product Application CAD Engineer Job Summary. The Product Applications CAD Engineer will work within the R&D and Engineering Team to create, modify, and analyze 3 D models and 2 D drawings supporting Premium Connection Tubular Products. This role is responsible for translating conceptual designs into productionready technical documentation while ensuring accuracy, manufacturability, and adherence to engineering standards. The engineer will collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, QA, and Operations to optimize designs and support the full lifecycle from concept through production. Responsibilities:Follow all safety and housekeeping practices. Use proper PPE and safety equipment as required. Create, modify, and analyze detailed 2 D drawings and 3 D digital models for Premium Connection Tubular Products. Apply parametric sketching, assembly modeling, drawing creation, and GD&T principles. Ensure manufacturability and design accuracy through datadriven review and analysis. Divide work between project-based initiatives (75%) and daily routine tasks (25%). Prepare and deliver weekly reports using approved templates. Work closely in a crossfunctional environment with Engineering, QA, and Operations teams. Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand, interpret, and validate complex information. Support continuous improvement by communicating analyses and recommendations effectively. Requirements:Candidates must be a full-time student pursuing a Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree. Candidates must be a current student and have completed their sophomore year by June 2026 and be in good academic standing. Be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. Proficiency in 3 D modeling and mechanical design principles. Strong skills in parametric sketching, assembly modeling, and GD&T. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and Premium Threaded Connections. Software proficiency: Solid. Works, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other productivity tools. Experience with EPDM or comparable document management systems. Strong initiative, work ethic, and ability to work with minimal supervision. Reliable and dependable with the ability to complete assignments urgently and accurately. Strong critical thinking and complex problemsolving capabilities. High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and consistency. Analytical and datadriven mindset; able to collect, organize, and analyze technical data. Effective verbal and written communication skills for presenting coherent analyses. Strong teamwork and crossfunctional collaboration abilities. Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills; capable of managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
